The title is taken from a poem of the same name by Agnes Mary Frances Robinson.[Astra is back on her in a heartbeat, their lips meeting in a hungry kiss that quickly becomes more teeth than tongue. It doesn’t take long for Astra’s mouth to shift lower, along the curve of her neck and down to her collarbones, nipping and sucking far too many marks along the way.
Fortunately, Evelyn’s usual outfit does conceal her collarbones and her cleavage, so Astra is free to make as many marks as she wants. It’s a bit of a control thing, Evelyn has learned - when a company has you in a chokehold, controlling almost every facet of your life, you take whatever little acts of rebellion you can get. And those acts of rebellion range from constantly escaping between scheduled work meetings to trying to replicate her autograph with teeth and tongue on her bodyguard’s skin.]
