This is an adaptation of Omori, and I really liked the first chapter and I'l reccomend this. In this fic existing knowledge of Omori would help understand the premise. Also, if someone is reading this I will warn that since this is a Ducktales adaptation of Omori then it probably will deal with heavy themes like depression, trauma, accidental murder and sudicide.
But I really did like the writing style and the game like formatting of the dreamworld. In general it's about Louie after he accidentally murdered Huey. And instead of facing that truth, Louie would rather disassociate and dream of a world where he's happy together with his family and nothing ever went wrong. Of course, nothing is fine in the real world.

In the middle of Glomtales—while Louie’s family is off on his dream vacation, and after Della has said her message about Louie’s place in the family—the DT-87 bot detects another scheme from Louie.
Now half-blinded and emotionally wrecked, Louie runs away. Little does he know, however, this is only the beginning of his adventure.
Poe De Spell is mysteriously returned his sentience, seemingly thanks to a scared child clad in green.

Louie loses an eye because of the DT87, so he runs away and he de-cursifies Poe who just so happened to be nearby. So they stick together.

It was a typical day in Duckburg... Until Magica De Spell managed to put in motion a crazy plan- send Scrooge to the futurewith some kind on artifact. And it worked. Now, Scrooge must set right what went in the timeline. Yet it's far too late as half of Scrooge's family has died by the the hands of Magica and she and her crew (what's left of them anyways) know that Scrooge is back.
