    The thunder groans menacingly outside, the heavy rain not easing up even for a moment – hitting the window with such force it's a miracle it doesn't break the glass. But it's okay because they're here – under this roof together, on the same, comfortable mattress and He Tian can feel Guan Shan's warmth even though they don't touch except for their intertwined legs.

    He Tian swallows hard and closes his eyes, leaning down, hiding his face in the crook of Guanshan's neck while his right hand slips between their bodies.
    "I'll be quick… don't move", he whispers and he can hear the other one swallow as well, those hands still on his backside, now slightly trembling.
