At first glance Wumuti appeared to have everything a woman could want, a wealthy respected older husband providing for her, a beautiful house and two healthy kids.
She should be happy, right? Then why has she always felt this unexplainable void? Under manicured hands, perfectly blown out hair and polished red lipsticks laid dissatisfaction from leading such a boring life.
That all changed when she met her neighbors’ daughter returning from college in the city to visit her parents in the small town they lived in.

“Just stressed.” Wumuti closed her eyes, relishing the feeling of Hyun’s large hands on her shoulders. She made her feel so small, so protected and safe. “I wish I wasn’t in charge of everything all the time.”
Hyun went quiet for a moment, just working away at her knots. The silence felt comfortable to them both. When she was finished, she slid her hands down Wumuti’s arms, leaning down until her mouth was at the older woman’s ear. “You don’t have to be in charge of everything, you know.”

Summary
Rui is constantly cold, overtired and overworked at his dance company, topped off with having to live in the world’s worst flat.
Amidst the frost, and the aching ice: is Hyun. A golden luminary in the crowd of bodies that he is constantly latching on to. Unfortunately, Rui is apart of said crowd, and may have been succumbed to his lips more than once.
Rui hates him. A player, a hookup, a desirable, heated body. She hates herself more for indulging him.
But, for some reason, on an insignificant day when Rui could definitely be doing better- Hyun decides Rui is more than a hookup, & instead, she is everything he has ever wanted.

Rui wants her. She can’t explain it, but she knows that a deep-seated need is sitting in her belly and she wants that woman. They’ve locked eyes a few more times than socially acceptable now. She can’t even bring herself to feel embarrassed.
Making up her mind, she downs the rest of her drink. She’s just beginning to stand to make her way across the club when a voice sounds in her ear, “I thought I would spare you the effort.”
Rui nearly jumps out of her skin. She turns her head and finds her conquest standing right beside her, elbows perched on the bar as she leans forward. She’s even prettier up close and her heart skips a beat before it starts to race in her chest.
