Summary
In response to both, #givecaptainamericaaboyfriend and #giveelsaagirlfriend, and a magazine article that suggested it would make a good rom-com, I made this. Elsa is a closeted lesbian who just needs to pass as straight for her sister's wedding. Steve is a lonely bi guy looking for something to do after a really bad breakup almost a year ago. Immediately sensing an opportunity, Elsa has Steve be her beard. The plan all goes wrong, however, when Steve's old boyfriend, Bucky Barnes, blows back into town and Elsa begins to notice Anna's best friend in a new way. Can they keep this charade going? Should they even try? Will true love prevail? Read and find out!

In terms of Yautja world building we as a fandom have had our share of interesting lore - we have often explored ableism, xenophobia, cultural aspects, but there is one social stigma in particular that we had never TRULY have gotten an answer for, and it oft reflects on the way we engage with it, not only IN our fanworks, but as a FANDOM.
Which presents itself as a question: WHAT in the world is going on in Yautja society when it comes to the subject of rape?
REMINDER: this is an essay talking about the TROPE of noncon in Yautja FAN works, and how it relates to the worldbuilding across fandom/fanon, and is NOT meant to undermine the fics/visual works of any particular person, but to open a discussion about why and how this trope is portrayed so often in Yautja smut in all the good and problematic ways it can be
TW: we're talking about rape culture, conservative ideology, terf/radfem ideology, incest, CSA, and attempting to explain WHAT rape actually is and WHY it's harmful/unlawful IRL while being a popular trope in FICTION

For anyone who enjoys Predator/yautja fics AND world building AND political/real-life themes in fiction AND maybe a lil bit of noncon, this one's for you. Very well thought out essay that poses a lot of great questions, really makes you think, and something I think all writers should read even if you DONT write noncon bc the questions that it poses can apply to all facets of fanon depictions of Yautja culture. It is also super helpful for deciding your own take on personal headcanons for Predator world building and lore.

It started off as some approximation of blowing off steam, a celebration of a successful mission, a “shore leave”.
Reader is a female military employee involved with the 141. After a night out drinking with Soap, she winds up at his room… and Ghost answers the door.Soap/Ghost/Fem!reader three-way, no use of y/n, use of female pronouns and body parts but otherwise no unique identifiers, mildly dubious consent as there is alcohol consumption.
