There was nothing Pomfrey or Dumbledore could do to save him. In the magical world, there were always fatal accidents. Why couldn’t anyone save Ron Weasley?
The adults finally accepted that it was an accident, but the younger ones didn’t.
“Ron Weasley killed himself in front of his most hated enemy. The one who had tormented him for the past five years.”
Draco could not accept that he was the one who had pushed others to their deaths. He sought out Professor McGonagall, who had a time turner. If Draco could just go back a moment before Ron fell, he would save the clumsy weasel.
But Professor McGonagall shook her head. Because Ronald Weasley did not fall clumsily as everyone concluded. He committed suicide.
Hermione went crazy and had to go to St. Mungo's because she saw her friend fall countless times in Time turner. Harry wandered around the school like a ghost. The golden trio was completely broken.
Draco didn't need a time turner, he just needed a dark spell to go back in time and fix all the mistakes.
