Izuku showered after his run and stuffed his face with chicken and broccoli with plain rice, before rushing to his room early. No one stopped him, but Todoroki cocked his head in confusion at his hasty retreat. Izuku usually stayed up a little later with him, but he had, uhh, plans.
Could what he was going to do really be considered ‘plans’?
In any case he couldn’t exactly invite his first year crush to his room tonight, could he? Todoroki who had really shot up over the last couple of years and bulked out a little. Not a lot, not quite like his brother or father, but yanno, enough, right? And oh god, his eyes were just as pretty as they ever were too; hard and cold one moment, and then warm and sweet in the next.
He was over that crush though. Yep! Definitely!

Izuku Midoriya, don’t you DARE think about that poor innocent man while you defile your own footwear on a whim!
He slammed the bedroom door shut and shook himself like a dog after a bath. Nope, not going there!

Bakugou’s face scrunched up as he clearly waged some kind of internal battle before he deflated slightly, a long, annoyed breath forced from him. He plonked himself directly on the edge of Eijirou’s bed, huffing again.
Eijirou watched, waiting by the door of his own room as his bestie pulled several vile expressions, and then scrubbed a hand over one side of his face.
“It’s bullshit.”
“I know. I know it is, man,” Eijirou finally moved closer, bending to pick up scraps of paper and errant rubbish from across his floor, dropping each piece quickly into the bin before setting it back to rights.
“…I was gonna pick that up, you know,” Bakugou growled, the deep vibration in the back of his throat something he couldn’t have achieved more than a few days ago.
He’d begun his presentation.
