   Summary

   Colin Bridgerton discovers Penelope Featherington is Lady Whistledown feeling betrayed, Colin leaves Penelope alone, unmarried, pregnant, and ruined. When the Bridgerton family discovers that Colin has left the country, they go to visit Penelope in hopes that she may reveal where he has gone. When Anthony discovers Colin has left his Pregnant fiance behind he makes the choice to marry her. Penelope struggles with the pieces left behind, Anthony struggles to move on from Kate and try to learn to love again. The Bridgerton family struggles to understand or trust Penelope again after the discovery leading to some unavoidable consequences, when the truth is discovered will the Bridgerton family be on her side, or the one of the missing and once dear Bridgerton son. How will the family react to the betrayal, and what will happen when Colin returns?
