“You’ve been really stressed out lately, huh?” Denki asks, innocent as ever.
“What gave it away?” Katsuki mumbles as he flips back to his final draft of the menu. He needs to scan over it again to make sure he didn't leave anything off of the prep list.
Denki doesn't respond to his question, then clears his throat after a few seconds. “You know, Hitoshi says that you just need to get your dick wet.”
Katsuki is floored for a split second. He recovers quickly, doesn’t let the surprise show on his face when he glances up at Denki. He scoffs. “Yeah? Is he offering?”
Denki shrugs one shoulder. It looks like he’s barely holding a smile at bay. “I’m just telling you what he told me.”
Katsuki rolls his eyes. “Yeah, whatever. Are you offering?” He chuckles as he says it, eyes flicking back and forth between his scribbled list of courses and the prep sheet he’d written up yesterday.
“Yeah.”

Summary
Every year several neighboring packs migrate to neutral ground for the annual mating run, a test of strength and skill where lopers try to chase down a mate and runners try to avoid all but the best.
Eijirou has never been claimed during a run—he’s too big, too fast, and too strong to be pinned. But on the eve of this year’s run he meets Katsuki, a reluctant participant from another pack who would rather go ‘lone than take a mate, and decides that he wouldn’t mind wearing his bite.
