Summary
With the Mobotropolis area opening its gates en masse for the first time in years as an extended olive branch to its many neighbors of the world, it's an opportunity for connection and learning about the cryptic kingdom that cannot be missed. That said, stuffy parties and ballgowns aren't exactly the style of some of the world's most lucrative heroes--but a small compromise is worth it. Still, formal parties are an utter bore, so what else are Sonic and Shadow to do to fill the time between than learn a few new dance moves? And maybe just a little more as they go.

But nah honestly these have been really fun because they've been able to let me explore other relationships and topics outside of my main fic !!! Which i love !!!! Like i got to write out a bit for Jesse and Aiden actually sitting down to talk and also got to rewrite important Season 2 scenes which we'll see if I do anything with later!

After the two holes, was a third platform. Unlike the others in the room, it didn’t have a sea of glass and blood surrounding it’s base. It had a tall glass tank protruding out of the top filled with a blue liquid, a worn sign neatly bolted to the front and multiple lights and buttons on the side flickered weakly.
Inside the tank, floating calmly with closed eyes, was a body.
“Hey, Xeph?” asked Honeydew.
“Yeah?”
“What the fuck am I looking at?”
Xephos sighed, tiredly. “Based on the door sign, I’d guess it’s a clone.”
He squinted his eyes at the worn sign on the platform.
“And based on this sign, I’d guess it’s called Lalna.”
(Whilst chasing two evil Honeydews through The Hand, Xephos and Honeydew stumble across someone who claims to be an old friend)

If Honeydew had been any lighter of a sleeper, the crash would have woken him up. It had certainly woken everything else, sending anything with ears skittering away in a hole to hide.
It hadn’t, though. He’d likely not have noticed it at all if not for the fine plume of dark smoke cresting the horizon.
