Eritta Domian is just trying to figure out how to pay for college, pay for the house she lives in with her aunt and uncle, and how to buy health insurance when she is mortally wounded in a magical battle.
One of the men insists that she be given a choice: go with them to another world to be healed, or stay on Earth and go to a hospital? Of course, she'll be brought home as soon as she's been healed - no one would dare kidnap her out of a hero complex, forcing her to negotiate her way out of a gilded cage without so much as a common language. That would never happen.
Then again, given the alternative is medical bankruptcy and dropping out of college due to her wounds, maybe even dying before she can get the hospital? Yeah, the other world sounds a lot better.
