Summary
“I feel so small sometimes” he whispers, “like our little lives here or in Pythia are nothing but specks of dust in the vastness of it all.”
“Is that why you wish to travel, to see more of this vastness?”
He turns to me quickly. “I never said I wished to travel.”
“It is written all over your face love.” I chuckle and he pouts the way he knows I find adorable. He leans back into my embrace, kisses my neck as if he cannot bare not to and then stays there in that sensitive place between the head and the heart, listening to the steady beat.
“And what if do, wish to travel that is?”
Or, Achilles and Patroclus stargazing and all the conversations and kisses that come with this sort of thing.

Summary
“Well, if things go right, we’ll be at Troy fighting. Now, if things go exceptionally right, we will have already won and returned home.” He says nonchalantly, his confidence as striking as the first time he saw him.
“You don’t really believe it will be over in a year?”
“I don’t see why not. Our army is by far the largest with so many kingdoms united, our warriors are the strongest. Perhaps it will be over quickly.”
Or, just a sweet moment in front of the sea discussing the future and before they leave for war (and before Skyros)

Of golden hair and angry eyes by ManonBlackbeak

Summary
His anger seems so stupid now, as he looks at those hurt eyes. The ones he has hurt. How could he have ever been so cruel, so careless. How has he fooled himself into thinking that he would be able to sacrifice those beautiful sweet eyes, just so the Achaean warriors don’t meet their death. Does that not make him a murderer too? One worse than Achilles. Worse, so much worse.
Oh how he hates himself. He hates himself so much he is afraid he’ll choke on it. He hates himself for loving him, he hates himself for hurting him, for not loving him enough or loving him too much. There is no solution to this hatred, no end to this endless chasm inside him that has been growing and growing ever since he was a little boy. It is only Achilles’ golden brilliance, his loving smile that has kept that darkness at bay and now? What happens now? Without Achilles, without his smile and laugh and love. He’d sooner die than hurt him again. He’d sooner die than let tears fall down that golden face. He’d sooner die than lose his love.

Summary
The shade of long leaves hid only so much of him.
Achilles felt he ought to be at least a bit ashamed of the blatant eavesdropping he was doing. But all he received was the view of the princes as they sparred with each other.
And the boy.
