Summary
Rabbit hybrid Jeongguk has spent the last four seasons running, fleeing his family home and the violence that took his loved ones away from him. He's spent the entire time in rabbit form, too traumatized to shift back into a man, and too aware of his status as prey to risk reentering society.
Then one fateful summer evening he finds himself seeking refuge within the gardens of a mysterious mansion in the woods, where a stranger with the curving horns of a beast and the golden eyes of a bird finds him hidden in the hedge. Everything about him says predator, but Jeongguk finds himself drawn to the mysterious stranger, who treats him with gentle care and respect despite their differences.
Jeongguk must learn to trust, to heal, and to live once more, and he finds himself wanting to do it all alongside the enigmatic stranger with a soft smile, a man who calls himself Park Jimin.
