Summary
He felt like he was looking at the Devil’s temptations. He felt like he understood why people sinned. There was nothing about hell that scared him more than the thought of never having the man before him. Never knowing what he tasted like, never hearing his voice laden with desire. Nothing on earth scared him more, either, except his parents.

Summary
[ ᴀᴜ - ᴛʜᴇ ᴅᴀɴᴄᴇ ᴏꜰ ᴛʜᴇ ᴅʀᴀɢᴏɴꜱ ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ ʜᴀᴘᴘᴇɴᴇᴅ ]
Naerys Targaryen was the sole child born of the ill-starred union between Prince Daemon Targaryen, called the Rogue Prince, and Lady Rhea Royce of Runestone, a marriage marked more by discord than affection. In her, the blood of Old Valyria mingled with that of the First Men, joining two ancient and proud lineages.
During the later years of King Viserys I’s reign, concerns over succession grew ever more pressing. His heir, Prince Baelon, was of frail health, and the influence of Queen Alicent Hightower and her kin at court gave rise to quiet unease. Fearing that ambition might one day outweigh loyalty, the king took measures to secure his line.
It was thus decreed that his second-born son, Prince Aegon, should wed his cousin Naerys. The match served both to bind the blood of House Targaryen more closely and to remove the young prince from the intrigues of King’s Landing. Aegon was to be sent to the Vale, there to be granted lands and a seat befitting his birth, under the watch of House Royce.
So did Viserys seek to preserve the peace of his Realm: honoring one son, while safeguarding another from the perils of courtly ambition.

Summary
'Look at me, dear.'
He's not smiling anymore. He just looks dark and hungry, as ravenous as the beast, the hungry, needy little animal inside that had brought Harry to this point. Harry is so hard it hurts.
'What did you smell?' Voldemort demands. 'Tell me, now.'

Summary
“Okay—okay, fine. You win,” Harry muttered, sounding as though he’d been struck over the head. “Just…don’t be surprised if this goes nowhere. I’m not as interesting as you think.”
Hardly relevant, as Tom’s interest lay solely in the man’s wallet. To obtain what he needed, he would tailor himself accordingly.
Tom smiled, not releasing Harry’s hands as he spoke. “I like you, Harry. Soon, you’ll like me too.”
Or: Tom’s hunt for his golden goose, and how he came to claim it.
