Summary
Kojiro had insisted on moving in either shamefully early or woefully late, depending on how you measured things, because their schedules are so out of sync they might as well live in different time zones.
So Kojiro had given him a ring, maybe 20% as a joke (okay, twist his arm, 0%), and Kaoru had been a dick about it but eventually let Kojiro move in with him, and then he filed their taxes together and that was that.
Happily ever after.

“If you’re looking for another meal, I can warm something up for you,” Kojiro says, just for the glare Kaoru shoots him over his shoulder.
“You know why I’m here. I’m not looking for a midnight snack.”
Kojiro grins, shoving his hands into the pockets of his pajama bottoms. “Really? Could’ve fooled me.”
“Idiot.” Kaoru tosses his head. “Just shut up and kiss me before I decide this is a bad idea.”
Kaoru appears on Kojiro's doorstep in the middle of the night and lets himself be taken care of.

“I just think something got screwed up,” Kojiro said. “I don’t feel like an omega. And yes, before you ask—again—I am certain I am one. At least for the moment.”
That got Kaoru’s attention, just like Kojiro hoped it would.
“For the moment?” Kaoru repeated, interested. “What does that mean?”
“Well, I’m sure you’ve heard the rumors…”
“Rumors,” Kaoru said. “That’s all they are. You know they can’t possibly be true.” Yet Kaoru sounded unsure, like he was hoping Kojiro would argue with him. Would have evidence to the contrary.
Kojiro licked his bottom lip nervously. “What if it can be done?” He hesitated, almost afraid to even utter the next word, bracing for Kaoru’s mocking laughter. “Studding?”
A story about best friends, teenage love, self-acceptance, and the magic of a good PowerPoint.
Oh, and lots and lots of sex.
