“Give me this drawing and we’ll call it even,” he said, looking up at Oikawa.
Oikawa frowned, shaking his head, the last rays of the evening sun catching the faint red tint in his short hair as it bounced. “Absolutely not. That’s one of my best.” He folded his arms across his chest, the fabric of his minty-blue colored dress shirt straining lightly over his shoulders and biceps. “Besides, it’s not finished yet.”

“Yeah, it did.” Kenma sighs wistfully, and a cocky smile plays at the edges of his lips like he’s proud of the fact that he's shelling out so that Kuroo looks paid for. It makes Kuroo want to give him whatever he wants whenever he wants it. The moon? Deal. The crown jewels? Absolutely. Kuroo’s still beating and bloody heart in the palm of his hand? Done.
“And you don’t mind? Spending this kind of money on me?”
“I just like getting you nice things,” Kenma replies, his voice is quiet, almost like he’s talking to himself, “Is that so bad?”

Tooru looks around the room nervously, her eyes flitting over the sea of familiar and unfamiliar faces before she finds her.
It was on an uneventful Tuesday morning in a Medical Physics elective lecture that Tooru first saw her—all sharp angles and tattooed arms—Hajime Iwaizumi. It was I-need-her-in-my-bed at first sight, and Tooru spent the whole two hours of the lecture staring at the way the muscles on Hajime’s back shifted with every movement. Tooru was confident and loud in the face of anything, but when Hajime met her eyes on the way out and smirked at her—well, Tooru had to skip her last lecture of the day to cry in Atsumu’s arms.

As if on cue, a low, echoing growl travels through the halls, and Kazuo feels his heart immediately pick up, beating wildly in his chest and so hard it almost hurts.
