On instinct, Jeongguk took multiple steps back, eyes not leaving the ball but knowing that he needed to move out of the way on the chance a player tried to save it.
His instinct had been correct.
Kind of.
Shoes squeaked harshly against the floor, the flash of the dark purple uniform entering Jeongguk’s vision. He heard the ball smack against skin and tracked its movement inwards before a body slammed into him, robbing him of air and taking him to the floor.
