Summary
A figure walks out of the bright light of the sleepy Swiss town and into the bar, as she draws closer you can see a white dog collar pressed against a black shirt and a black suit - a vicar. A vicar just walked into her bar, it’s like the start of a joke. She sits on one of the stools and looks to you in expectation, a hot vicar walked into your bar.
“What can I get for you, Father?”
She doesn’t look too impressed at the joke.
(Or Ava is a bartender, Beatrice is a Vicar, can I make it anymore obvious?)

Summary
Like muscle memory, Beatrice suddenly finds herself kneeling, this time at an altar completely sacred and divine. She realizes then that this call in her life was never meant to serve one purpose, one church, or one God. She was meant for this holy chaos of life, for the full spectrum of living.

Summary
Beatrice finds herself musing not over duty and sacrifice and God, but the truth of angels, if they can be created rather than summoned. If they can take the form of women with overeager mouths and careless limbs and eyes with a depth that beckons - a crooked finger, a spiral staircase - if they can be both human and not, both beautiful and terrifying.
Ava asks, What do you want, Beatrice?
(Tell me and I’ll give it to you. Tell me and I’ll build you a home there. Tell me and I’ll rearrange the universe to make it all fit, angels and demons be damned. Tell me it’s me. Me. Me.)
