Summary
Trapped in a cell against his will, Neil’s only companion is a feral wolf. Lucky for him, the wolf is not hostile, instead, they learn to survive together. When they’re eventually rescued, Neil is informed the wolf he’s cohabitated with for over a year is not a wolf at all.
He’s a fellow teenager, forced to participate in a shapeshifting experiment against his will.
Now that the wolf is human again, Neil will have to redefine their relationship and confront that the animal he depended on in captivity, is actually a heavily traumatized teenage boy.

Kevin shoots him a glare and moves to grab his arm, “Court - now. You’ve wasted enough time already.”
“Wait – do you want to go to a bar tonight with the team? Andrew said yes!”
“I don’t care what we do tonight. Right now, we need to practice. Let’s go.”
Neil looks to him longingly, his hand slipping out of Andrew’s grasp, “Tell my story when I’m gone, won’t you?”
“You are so dramatic. Hurry up!” Kevin shouts as he drags Neil away.
Andrew lightly chuckles at the sight of them and then immediately catches himself.
As if falling for one junkie isn’t humiliating enough.
