Killer couldn’t help hunching his shoulders in something that felt dangerously like guilt. “You’re imagining things.”
“He’s the one you think has haki, right? You were watching him in the fight enough to make a coordinated attack, he used me as a guinea pig and mouthed off to you. All within two days of knowing him.”
“What does that have to do with anything?”
Kid scoffed and rolled his eyes. “How many years have we been together, you think I don’t know my best friend’s type? You like someone that can keep you on your toes, that can keep things interesting.” He scowled, all teeth and show. “But did it haveta be some scrawny little nobody?”
Four times someone noticed Killer's growing feelings for Penguin and one time he did something about it. And then did something about it.

Summary
He followed the noise and found himself standing in front of a closet. To say Hunter was baffled was an understatement but his sense rarely steered him wrong. He opened the door and all thought of reaching up for the light vanished because Fixer was curled into a shockingly tiny ball, face pressed to his knees and hands clamped over his ears.
Hunter fell to his knees so fast it would’ve been painful if his heart wasn’t in his throat. “Fixer, what’s wrong? It’s me- it’s Hunter. Can you hear me?” He wriggled a finger in the crook of Fixer’s thumb. “One squeeze for yes, two for no, three if you can’t answer, alright?”
There was no squeeze in response.

Summary
“People don’t usually notice me.” Fixer eventually said.
Hunter snorted. “You kicked my ass and stole my knife. Of course I noticed you. Also you’re the least annoying of your brothers.” Not that he knew Sev at all but he felt that assessment was correct regardless.
That got him that soft almost-laugh again and something in Hunter’s chest warmed to hear it. “I seem to recall you had the upper hand in that fight. I didn’t intend to take off with your knife, sorry about that.”

Summary
Something this special, they decided, had to be carefully thought out. This would cause them to stand out from the millions of other clones, this would differentiate them even from their thousands of commando brothers. This was about individualizing themselves. This was about expression and Vau had chosen them as the first of his trainees worthy of that privilege. They gave this the serious consideration they gave any of Vau’s harshest tests.
Except for Sev.
Commandos being able to paint their armor was a privilege but not one they were all comfortable with.

This is about as shippy as the season 1 of the show, which means that there are plenty of moments for each and every ship you hope to see, but it's primarily gen.
