With hands like his, Midorima tends to wonder why he chose basketball and not hand modeling.
While taping his fingers, the boy brushed the thought off. The reason he chose basketball was because it was his passion, and it served a much more important purpose than modeling—a job which didn't benefit him the way he liked.
Midorima already had a glimpse of the modeling life; his teammate, Kise, did it for a while before joining. His past history in the field led to fangirls showing up to every Teiko game, shouting his name as if they belonged there. He feared that one day they'd mess up his focus during an important moment in a game, and so he resented Kise and his fangirls.
By a twist of fate, Midorima is forced to stay with his new teammate, Kise, until the boy chooses to bring him home. Kise, taking this grand opportunity, decides to hang out with Midorima instead.

Summary
Midorima wasn’t used to… love, really. He’s never had much good experience with relationships at all. That is until his friends start to act strange towards him after the winter cup and Midorima has to navigate through many embarrassing moments to finally realize what's going on.
TLDR: GOM and Takao try to subtly make moves on Midorima, but he's lowkey autistic and doesn't understand why they're acting so strange.

Sage takes in a young Vector who had crash landed at the academy.
