Summary
"Am I going to die?" Oscar asks, trying to push himself out of the car.
That question made sense to everyone, Oscar was worried about his injuries. That crash was horrible, it makes sense. Oscar could have died then.
He might've, if he was human.
But, Lando was the only one who knew the real meaning behind those words. Oscar is worried that McLaren will destroy him for failing. Simply move on to the next version like they have every time before.
The worst part is, Lando knows it's justified. McLaren has been looking for a reason to kill 'O.P. 8.1', and this might be it.
Or,
'Oscar Piastri 8.1' is McLaren's latest attempt at an android driver. Most versions were designed to be emotionless husks. Designed to drive and nothing more. Lando, Oscar's newest engineer decides to give him emotions.
Soon, they will both realize this version of Oscar can't handle emotions.

Summary
Lando looks up at Oscar, "Do you wish I was a girl?"
Oscar shakes his head, "I just wish it was okay to love you as you are.'"
He runs his fingers through Lando's hair, trying to soothe him. But he knows that this will change everything between them.
"I wish I could be your husband tomorrow, not hers."
He cups Lando's cheek trying to wipe away the tears falling in a steady stream. Lando unable to speak anymore, the idea of Oscar being taken away from him too much.
"Then why don't we try?" Lando suggests, his voice weak.

Oscar comes from a long line of successful Piastri men, all expected to be carbon copies of their fathers. And it's worked for generations. Though Oscar accidentally breaks the cycle when he realizes that he's gay. Specifically when he meets his fathers business partners son, Lando Norris.
They love each other, but it's 1959, so that should be impossible.

Summary
Max Verstappen isn't scared of much, he likes to pride himself on being brave. Not caring about most things other people are terrified of.
Embarrassingly though, he has a fear of needles. And when he needs to get a blood test, he brings Charles along with him for moral support. Max spends the entire time freaking out over nothing and Charles has to support his boyfriend through it all.
Or,
“You okay Max?” Charles asks, turning to Max now.
Max quickly nods trying to ignore the bitter taste in his mouth, “I’m fine, everything is great.”
“You’re squeezing my hand so hard it’s turning purple.” Charles states, sounding a little tense.
Max looks down at their intertwined hands, Max’s fingers red with how hard they are gripping Charles’ hand. And he is right, they are looking a little purple.
“Oh.”

Charles 1:28pm: “Come work out with me, I’m just wanting to appreciate the view.”
That one he can’t miss, Charles is literally talking about checking Max out as he works out. Surely he can’t miss this.
Surely he’s not that stupid.
Quickly, a response comes.
Max 1:29pm: “Isn’t the view of Monaco the same if I’m there or not?”
Charles groans, turning his phone off and putting it down face first on a table.
Or,
Max is oblivious when it comes to flirting, Charles likes him a lot but Max can't see that.
These are the three times Charles tried to drop hints that he likes Max, and the one time Max finally noticed.
