Aragorn knew the cadence of her breathing now. Knew when it changed. Knew when she did not sleep. Emma Baird falls asleep outside an unusual set of ruins while camping in the Irish countryside. When she wakes, she finds herself being chased through unfamiliar trees by creatures torn out of her worst nightmares and no way home.
Maybe she should have listened to her friends and finally read those books instead of solely relying on her movie knowledge to guide her.
