  Sirius didn't even realize she was already turning the doorknob. Her whole body burned with frustration that Nakayama chose to spend her day with these people instead of her. Not that she owed Sirius a single thing. Quite the opposite, really. But Sirius could not give a shit. If she had to be at this gala, so would Nakayama.
