Summary
George Russell is finally where he has longed to be his entire racing career: in a head-to-head title fight with Max Verstappen, holding his own against the four-time World Champion. With six races left in the season, George is closer than ever to what his every waking thought has been consumed by – not only becoming World Drivers’ Champion, but beating Max while he’s at it.
But then a collision on track changes everything: George wakes up in Max’s body, and Max in his.
Trapped inside the life of the rival he has spent years trying to defeat, George is forced to confront a lifetime of bitter feelings, as every win he takes in Max’s body will only be added to Max’s legacy – and intentionally crashing out would just play into the hands of Oscar Piastri, their silent pursuer looming ever closer in the rear-view mirror.
To save his championship, George must do the impossible – get Max Verstappen to cooperate, all while the lines between them begin to blur.

Summary
George Russell does not have ballast. George Russell has the opposite of ballast, whatever that is. Something pulling upward instead of down, something that makes a man reach for a drink that's mostly ice water and perform laughter for an audience that isn't paying close enough attention to notice it's a performance. By all available metrics, George Russell should be the happiest person in this room.
But Max notices. It's his least useful quality and he can't seem to stop.

George’s breath hitched for a moment. He tried for another lie, but they were getting weaker every time. “It’s not… Everything was fine. I’m fine.”
That earned him a skeptic glare, although it softened quickly. “You always get that little crease between your eyebrows when you’re beating yourself up. It’s been there since I walked in. So either the burgers were shit, or Miami is still stuck in your head.”
George breathed in sharply, almost insisting, but then he just exhaled a laugh, shaking his head. “No, the burgers were great.”

Summary

There is no other way to describe it. Every time he thinks he has finally escaped, something will remind him of Max, of what Max did, what Max said to him, about him – and then he’s right back where he started. Maybe this is some secret 10th circle of hell he didn’t know about.
