The King and Queen of the Vinkus are harboring a secret. They are the only ones in Oz that know Elphaba and Fiyero are still alive. The Wizard and Glinda, believing they were dead, swore they would clear both their names, giving them the legacy they truly deserved. Eventually.
However, a few months after their escape to Ev, Elphaba and Fiyero wrote to his parents with an exciting life update. This letter prompts the King and Queen to travel to the Emerald City to demand that Glinda and the Wizard clear their names immediately. They're on a mission; they're bringing Elphaba and Fiyero home.
