Starfleet Academy cadets T'Mani (Vulcan) and Gaila (Orion), assigned to a shared project, have a study date in the library. T'Mani has a few—no, many—complaints about this arrangement.
(A response to the question, "How much would it annoy a Vulcan to have to do a group project with Gaila?" A lot, probably.)

"To do nothing but look at the stars will soon cease to be interesting," T’Vhan had argued. "We will learn them more thoroughly by this practice." Then, as a final point she added, "Other Vulcan children play such games. It is illogical to refuse what one has not tried."
Adolescent Vulcans Spock and T'Vhan, under the stars and out of sight of their parents, play a game of their own invention. This story is basically a response to the prompt: What if spin the bottle, only Vulcans?

Summary
Gaila and Spock Prime on the Vulcan colony world, low-key scandalizing their neighbors with their discreet affair and general disregard for public opinion. Six months after Gaila's arrival, the time she’s been waiting for is here: Spock’s Vulcan biology is sending him into pon farr, and she can finally find out what it means when a Vulcan tells you “things will get interesting.”
This fic is a sequel to The Orion-on-Vulcan Method, my Spock Prime/Gaila origin story. AKA the story that convinced me this pairing is completely logical. :D

Summary
It’s a ridiculous romance, involving an intentionally anachronistic Romulan starship pirate’s crush on the half-Vulcan astro-temporal physicist he’s never met, and how a Vulcan raised without the culture of her homeworld takes advantage of our starship pirate to exact her revenge on the astro-temporal physicist’s father. Also, the entire engineering crew is Orions, and they’re great.
But, mostly, it’s porn. Trashy romance novel porn with mind-melds. And a whole, whole lot of alien peen. And like a third of the dialogue is in Vulcan (with mouseover translations that don’t work on mobile, sorry).
