Summary
The air is so thick that breathing is virtually difficult. This was the situation with Jill Valentine, who was putting pressure on a gash she had sustained on her left shoulder while leaning on a rock. Jill groaned in agony and despair at the screams and the sound of pallets falling. She was doomed with only one more hook. Of course it was her luck that "The Mastermind," who knows her like the back of his hand, was the killer. They formerly had a friendship once. Jill continued to breathe heavily as her heartbeat picked up once again. She could hear the grass in front of the rock crunch under The Mastermind’s large boots. Jill held in her groans of pain while tears cleaned the blood off of her face, she never wanted this.

The most romantic boy in all of Uranium is Noel Gruber. He previously worked at Taco Bell inside a shopping center just outside Uranium before starting at the sole Starbucks in the town. His closest friend, Penny Lamb, persuaded him to start working here and even trained him. Even though Noel was initially quite hesitant about the idea, knowing he is extremely clumsy and would almost definitely drop a few drinks, it ended up working well. Many cute, straight boys entered the place and frequently placed orders for their girlfriends or even their mothers. Being gay in Uranium is like, having a laptop in the stone age. I mean sure, you can have one, but there’s no where to plug it in. At least, that’s how Noel describes it.

As she left the Phelps house, the blonde experienced a weight being lifted off of her shoulders. Just as she shut the door behind her, the brisk autumn air began to attack the numerous bruises on her legs and the healing scars. She gently opened her eyes and peered up at the sky, which usually always had heavy clouds hanging over the residence. Before the girl descended the stairs and proceeded slowly to school, a big sigh could be heard from her cracked lips. A few kids could be seen on the other side of the sidewalk, talking and laughing while looking towards her and the house. Everyone knew who her father was and looked up to him as a local preacher, but only saw her as an aggressive bully who constantly got into fights, assuming where those bruises came from. As the group past her, she kept her head down, gripping her purple backpack until her hand began to cramp, she was safe nowhere, that’s at least what she thought.

Summary
As a grease monkey turned college freshman, Dean's constantly three seconds away from being stressed out of his mind. It hardly helps that he's finally figuring out his sexuality in his thirties.
What might help with that stress is a little phone number (and a big credit card bill). If he can't figure out how to be bisexual in person, he can at least give it a go over the phone, right?
