"Are you asking me why a wall is a wall?" That threw him enough for a moment, his face shifting into pure confusion. "I - what? No? Did Pomni move her room?"
Jax thought he'd be prepared for any answer. Any variant of yes, because what the hell else could it be? That she abstracted in the night and Caine just poofed her and all things related to her away? No because why would he do that? He'd never erased someone's room when they abstracted before. The rest of them would have surely heard an abstracted Pomni too, but as far as he could tell no one had. There weren't any damage marks done to the nearby walls or floor either, nothing to indicate some beast had run through it and destroyed things.

After the awards show, still reeling from his panic attack and trying to ignore his emotions, Jax mumbles to himself about how it’d be easier if Pomni had never arrived in the circus just before he goes to bed.
And then he wakes up and no one else can seem to remember her. He’s convinced it’s a prank. It’s not.
(set post ep 6 but pre ep 7, takes a lot of inspo from ep 7 though. may not interact much but i love seeing yalls feedback anyway!)

Summary
Figured it'd be good to get some of my old written works up. Here's one with my lion OCs.
She had figured that if they were careful, it would be fine. That she wouldn't have to make the choice between her pride and the lion she loved. Yet she'd gotten careless, as if she'd subconsciously forgotten the war they were in. Maybe if she'd paid better attention she could have prevented this. Could have protected her friend.
But now her pridemate was gone. A friend, a mate, a mother. Dead, and deep down she knew it was her own fault, wasn't it?

After the events of episode 6, Pomni and Jax are rather tense and communicate very little. However, Pomni still thinks about Jax and does desire for them to have just one moment together.
It comes true when Jax abruptly comes into her room, with absolutely no words, in the middle of the night for comfort, resting onto her chest with absolutely no explanation.Written in the POV in which the "you" is referring to Pomni.
