Blood was dripping down her chin now. His eyes widened as he stared at her, his jaw slack. She choked out a half-hearted laugh, “Ah shit. That hurt way more than I thought it would.”
He hurriedly rummaged through the options on his gauntlet, eventually finding the first aid items he needed. She’s always like this, he thought to himself. Always running into danger headfirst, always leaving him to deal with the consequences. But the fact of the matter was that it wouldn’t matter to him if things were different. What hurt him was the fact that she would hurl herself into danger the moment she met his scared eyes, the moment she had any chance to trade in her life for his.

Not to mention that her demon ex-boyfriend isn’t looking too bad nowadays… and said demon ex-boyfriend also has feelings for her and her roommate/bestie?! Just when she thought her life as a magical rebel princess from another dimension was already complicated enough!
OR: A Tomstarkieco-centric epic-length fic that starts as a sorta-fluffy, canon-compliant retelling of S2b, then goes off the rails at Starcrushed and becomes a full-fledged season 3-4 rewrite that tackles a lot more beyond shipping! There’ll be a little something for everyone, giving both protagonists AND antagonists the time to shine that they deserve!
NOTE: the first chapter is being released long in advance as a preview. I plan to begin releasing the rest of the fic later this year, and once I do, chapters will be posted on a regular basis, every other week!
