Calum’s heart sinks a little bit, and he's not entirely sure why. Or maybe, the most likely of all, it's because he can hear Mali's voice in his head telling him how stupid he's been to have found himself—quite literally—backed against the wall like this, with a boy he barely knows whispering dirty promises into his ear when he doesn't even know the first thing about real relationships.
Or, Calum spends a night with the boy that smells like smoke, and as it always is with bad addictions, he keeps getting sucked right back in.
