Summary
After a drunken one night stand together, Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, three college students with no connections to one another and virtually no social skills between them, go their separate ways as they attempt to get through college without the mortification of facing one another.
If only the universe would just let them do that.

Summary
Zoey is burned out and running from her problems. Rumi feels trapped in a gilded cage. Mira is trying not to crumple under the never ending pressure from high society.
When Zoey meets two beautiful, life changing matches while hunting for one night stands on the apps, she might have swiped on something a little more meaningful than she'd intended. There's just one problem. Neither of them date, and she isn't sure if she's going to see them ever again.
A story about hope, friendship, and finding the courage to stand up for yourself against all odds.
---
Breaking into a shout of laughter, Rumi rests her glass in her lap as she claps a hand across her mouth, eyes shining with delight. “Oh my… Zoey. Okay, go, before I keep you. Are you okay to see yourself out? If you hold the door until it chimes, it’s self locking. I’m just a little…” gesturing at herself, Rumi breaks into a wry grin. “...well. Lets just say you made good on that promise to fuck me until I couldn’t walk. Thanks.”

Summary
“You can put the pan down Zoey, she won’t hurt you.”
Zoey looked at the demon standing in her living room. Then at Mira’s rigid posture. Then back at the demon again.
Rumi’s smirk widened. She turned her head just enough to catch Zoey’s eye, then snapped her teeth lightly at the air, almost playful, flashing the sharp edge of her small fangs.
“No,” Zoey whispered, clutching it tighter. “I don’t think I will.”
Or
When her best friend’s apartment is “haunted,” paranormal investigator Mira discovers the poltergeist is actually her chaotic demon ex, who’s been pranking Zoey just to get Mira’s attention back. Apparently “no contact” doesn’t apply when you dated a creature who treats breakups like a challenge.

Summary
“Oh my god.” Zoey shoveled it into her mouth with reckless abandon, alternating between chopsticks and spoons. “Oh my god.”
“It’s not that good. You’re lying.” Mira leaned in close to the camera, possibly to get a better look at the food in Zoey’s bowl.
Zoey looked at Mira wide-eyed. “Mira, it’s—oh my god. This is the greed the Bible warned me about.”
“You’ve never read the Bible,” snarked Mira.
“I just—the chef is gorgeous, Mira! And her food is—” Zoey lost her words, then she shook her head to reset her brain. “Babe,” said Zoey seriously, leveling her gaze at her girlfriend, “I’ve discovered the divine intervention that’s gonna get you to this place.”
Mira’s jaw dropped open. “Why didn’t you show me the hot chef?”
“Because my girlfriend is Aphrodite and the chef is Venus and my fucking brain exploded because I couldn’t put together a single thought when not one but two hot women were staring at me at the same time!” wailed Zoey, for her steak was too juicy and her lobster too buttery. “Besides, if you saw the hot chef that would be one less excuse to come eat here!”

Summary
Zoey Choi and Kang Mira, students of Marine Biology and Marine Archaeology, respectively, earn the opportunity of a lifetime as interns for an expedition to Jeju Island. They are entrenched in the island's unique cultures and traditions, and with luck, their studies will help to preserve them for future generations.
But a diving accident puts the girls face-to-face with a living, breathing fiction that shakes their realities: a mermaid. Soon, they come to learn that secrets persist around Jeju just as stubbornly as the islanders' traditions, and they have unwittingly been drawn into a fragile web of deception and mysticism that runs deeper than they ever could have imagined.
And in the middle of the hurricane of questions they have, seated directly in the eye, is a mermaid with jagged purple patterns.
