Summary
When Severus Snape dies in the Shrieking Shack, he expects it to be the end.
Instead, he wakes in Godric’s Hollow on the night Lily Potter dies—years younger, with full memory of everything that followed. This time, he doesn’t step back. This time, he takes the child.
With Harry Potter in his care, Snape sets out to change a future he knows too well—one shaped by war, manipulation, and a boy raised to die. But protecting Harry means stepping outside both the Dark Lord’s reach and Dumbledore’s design, and into alliances Snape has never trusted.
Gringotts is watching. The past is shifting. And the child in his arms carries far more than a lightning-shaped scar.

"I- I- Lily, listen to me. Listen to me, please-"
"There's nothing more we can do."
"He will kill you!"
"Then he'll kill me, Severus!"
"Please. Please, convince James to break the oath. If he knows- if he knows, maybe he'll change his mind."
"Break the oath? Break the oath? You're smart enough to know, Sevie-"
"I don't want you to die!"
- The Pensieve memory of Lily Evans and Severus Snape, September 29th, 1981.Harry Potter was born a freak. He always knew that. The addled orphan of drug addicted parents, dropped off at his respectable relatives’ house, only for them to go on and die in a car crash. It was alright. One day he was going to be a zookeeper, probably. Or just something that worked with snakes.

Summary
On the first day of summer after 5th year, Harry is sure that he will have the longest, worst summer of his life. Still grieving Sirius and with thoughts of the prophecy, his only thought is to make it to Hogwarts in the fall.
His plans are ruined when a Death Eater attack leaves the Dursleys dead, the blood wards destroyed, and Severus Snape's cover as spy blown. Now, both are wanted by the Dark Lord and in danger. For their own safety, Dumbledore sends the two to a safe house, far to the north -- a cottage by the sea. There, Harry and Severus learn far more about each other than they ever dreamed.
(Post OoTP, but alternate HBP. Pure Severitus angst. No Snarry romance, but maybe a little Hinny. Not beta read or Britt picked.)

Summary
When Harry is forced to endure a summer under Snape’s care, he’s uncertain he has the will to bear through whatever his professor has in store for him.
With the ghost of Cedric over his shoulder, the echo of his relatives’ treatment ringing in his ears, and the absence of anyone he thought still cared about him weighing on his chest, he knows that with just a little more pressure he may totally crumble.
As Harry is plagued by the many consequences of Voldemort’s return, Severus attempts to suffer through the burden of arming the boy’s mind against his original master, all while continuing his subterfuge at the Dark Lord’s feet.
When a connection of consciousness is wound between them, and certain truths about Harry are revealed, they have no choice but to bend to the consequences, and hope they emerge on the other side better for it.

A classic slow build Severitus fic with alternating perspectives between Harry and Severus, a unique take on Occlumency, and a lot of angst.

Summary
On the thirty-first of October, 1980, Lily Potter filed a magically binding will naming Severus Snape as Harry's guardian. She placed him last on the list to convince James. She placed him first because she meant it.
Snape cannot refuse. He does not decide to become a father. He simply does the things that fathers do, one after another, for twelve years, until the doing becomes the thing, and the thing becomes permanent.
Dumbledore had a plan. Lily had a better one.
Blood was never the magic that protected Harry. It was love.
