Summary
A list of current high school volleyball players Bokuto admits respect for, at the behest of Fukurodani insisting that he “think critically” and “compile a list of threats and strategies to take them down” before he ascends like a bursting star into the captaincy:
1) Himself!!! (This one's self-explanatory!)
2) Kuroo, who’s got a block like a tarp over an umbrella hanging from a tree!
3) Yaku, who’s like if you just covered lots and lots of saran wrap over the ground to catch whatever Kuroo missed, but you could still see the grass and stuff, so it’s like, totally invisible but extremely awesome.
4) Sakusa, reluctantly.
5) That one setter that Suzumeoka’s got, the one who Bokuto doesn’t really know the name of, but he’s always squinting and looks kind of grumpy but has got a mean dump shot and also legs that go for days and a really funny smirk whenever he pulls off some play that Bokuto could never see coming and even though he’s always seething cuz they’ve never beat Fukurodani, is it weird that Bokuto still wants to be his friend?(in which akaashi goes to suzumeoka — but finds his star anyways)
