“What would you prefer, my dear?” Caine smiled warmly, looking down at you.
“Pink. And something soft. Maybe fur?” you suggested, breathing a sigh of relief. Either he was in a good mood right now, or you were correct about him liking non-adventure related requests. You hoped it was the latter.
He snapped, a plush pink blanket covering your bed.
“Go ahead, don’t be shy!” Caine said, pushing you over to the blanket. You grinned, keenly aware of his gaze on you as you gingerly climbed into bed.

Summary
Ford doesn’t get his morning coffee for his 2-week insomnia run. He panics. You come home. He’s angry, because he burned himself trying to make coffee that morning because you weren’t there. His routine got ruined, and he lashes out at you because now his whole day is ruined. What a big fucking baby. You pour all of the coffee beans down the drain in defiance. He walks forward initially with the intent of retrieving the coffee beans, but then his body just. Moves on its own. And then he’s kissing you and running his lips over every patch of skin he can find and he really just wanted you home. He really missed you.

Summary
Your head is flooded with the memories of your encounter. You can almost feel his hands on your body as you trace the phosphorescence on your skin slowly, the pads of your fingers covering the marks of his as you recall the strength of his grip on your lower body.
The way he’d pressed his mouth to your throat, the feel of the scar on his lips as it had rubbed against your throat.
Every mark. Every finger imprint. It all lines up with somewhere that he’d put his hands on you in that god forsaken cabin. Each impression that’s dotted across your skin serves as a visible reminder of all the places that you've been touched by him. A ghostly remnant of passions shared and a haunting memorial to all that you’ve lost, too.

After a disastrous ending to your last adventure with Ford, his careless nature leads to you catching something rather unfortunate and to make matters worse, when you seek his help, he's nowhere to be found.

Summary
You know Ford is an experienced outdoorsman and he’d probably be able to find his way around here blindfolded and hogtied. If you have to go out in risky weather with anyone, he's undoubtedly going to be your best bet.
With the stride of a uniquely confident man, Ford steps out into the evening air with a sharp breath inward and a contented sigh, taking in the awaiting scent of petrichor. He holds the door open for you with one hand and gestures for you to follow with the other, offering you a rakish grin.
“Shall we?”
And when he smiles at you like that, what choice do you have?
