Summary
Lovino’s life is at its lowest point. He is overworked and struggling to keep himself and his younger brother, Feliciano, from starving, all while enduring the cruel gossip of the townspeople who insist he’s strange. Every day is the same monotonous cycle. But everything changes when Feliciano fails to return home from a trip to gather provisions. Worried, Lovino sets out to find him and discovers his brother imprisoned inside a seemingly abandoned estate. There, he encounters Gilbert Beilschmidt, the late Duke long believed to be dead, and Lovino is forced to make a choice that will change his life forever.

Summary
Things had not been going well for Gilbert Beilschmidt. For a while now. Unemployed, broken up with and crashing on his brother's couch, Gilbert attempts to start getting his shit together by taking a job as an assistant... An assistant for the world's most unbearable, smoking hot editor, Lovino Vargas.
Sooner than later Gilbert finds out that Lovino is not as heartless as he seems, and worst of all, that he has a lot in common with him. Fate just seems to push them together constantly, and as much as he dislikes it, as much as they don't work at all, he just can't hate Lovino.
[Editor/Assistant AU. An attempt of a slow burn character exploration/romance/dumbass Prumano dynamic shenanigans and a tiny bit of angst]
