Summary
Phoenix is pretty sure (but it can’t be proven) that Miles Edgeworth’s dream started on a rock climbing wall when they were both nine years old. It was two weeks before his father, Gregory Edgeworth, the famous defence attorney, would be killed in a tragic accident involving and earthquake and an elevator, and he would be put under the care of Manfred von Karma and vanish out of Phoenix’s life for ten years.

Summary
Dahlia is gone, Maya is free, the day is (mostly) saved. So Phoenix and Miles have a talk.
“And Gumshoe says that Iris won’t be transferred until the end of the week, so I can go see her tomorrow,” Phoenix goes on. “He and Maggey are apparently thinking of taking a trip out to Vegas, too, once all the loose ends from this get tied up.”
Miles hears how this conversation is going, and smiles easily. There’s a certain pleasure in talking with Phoenix about other people’s problems.
“Is that what I am, then?” he asks, a little teasing in the dim bronze light, “Your last loose end?”
