Leo has had many places he's called home and knows of all the ways home can be ruined.He knows how tentatively one can truly call a place home, how quickly someone can come by and force you on, he knows what it's like to have dirt and trash piled so high over your head if you move too quickly it might fall down and crush you, to have bugs crawl their way into everything you own and mold spread over the walls, how one person can turn what should be safe into a living nightmare. He knows what it is like to have your safety taken from you. Burned away leaving nothing but smoke and ash. He knows the smell of smoke as it fills the room around him. Knows the heat of fire as it licks at his skin, though it does not burn him.
He knows it's his fault. Because the fire is always his fault.
He tries to stop it, but the wooden floors catch as quickly as if they were doused in gasoline, fire roaring up from anything he touches, even as he wills it to stop and his fingers to cool. He needs to leave.

He looks at the pictures again. "Where's Alastor? There are no pictures of him. If I were going to team up with anyone, it would be him. Not two random nobodies."
"Oooh… Shit… Vox, you both got into a fight. Touch your antenna," Velvette says.
He gives her a look and reaches up to touch them, flinching a bit with the crinkled one. His eyes widening.
"He did that. You both hate each other now. Come on… let's go home." She holds her hand out to him.
He shakes his head, taking a few steps back and zapping off. What time is it? Where would Al be?… he'll know whats going on.

"Looking for the others again?" they ask.
"Yeah… You'd think Pomni would change her name on YouTube… I mean… Surely she'd know I'd look for her on it… But nope. No Pomni channels," he sighs and puts it away again.

I know I am. And it sucks! I didn't ask for this. I didn't want it… But it is still my fault. It is still who I am…"

with only a few weeks left to cure himself of the Kharaa Bacterium Ryley finds his last hope when the Hail Mary crashes onto 4546B and brings Ryland Grace along with it.

Grace takes a breath and glances back at Ryley before slipping in. once Grace is clear of the cyclops, he presses the button on his air bladder. Ryley was right; it shoots him up so fast it's just two seconds of whirlwind bubbles, then he's bouncing on the surface.He gasps and paddles, glancing down to see Ryley swimming up behind him with fins and a scuba mask now on. he wonders if he can get a suit like that to go along with the PDA; his clothes aren't exactly built for swimming.
Ryley surfaces and grabs his hands, tugging him forward to shore as Grace looks around, taking in his very non-Earth surroundings. The plant life is completely foreign to him; even the sounds of the life here are wrong. There's no bird song; instead, there are squeaks and chitters.
His eyes widen. "Where… Where are we?" He asks, turning to Ryley as they get up on shore, their mask and flippers fading with the same blue shimmer as the air bladder formed.
"This," Ryley gestures around, "is 4546B, your new home."
