    “He's around your age I'm pretty sure and— I'm not forcing you to be friends with him or anything.” Mane licks his lips, swallowing the lump in his throat. “But he's a nice kid. I think you'd like him too and… it would be nice knowing you had him or well- someone like him by your side through all this.”

    Lomedy. Flame repeats the name in his mind. He didn't know if he was memorizing the name to actually befriend him or to purposely avoid him for the sake of annoying his brother. He didn't need Mane to be scouting out buddies for him, that's just plain embarrassing.

    Maybe he'd consider it, maybe he won't.

    FUUCKKK I cried so bad at this. I read this at 1 AM in the morning and finished it at like around 4. I cried so much reading this. The foreshadowing, parallels, the grief, the fluff, and the angst.

    Author genuinely portrayed everyone here so realistically I bawled my eyes out. ilysm Lomedy and Flame. Torchflower my beloved.

    The part with Lomedy not being able to get out of bed and his depression hit so close to home, it was well-written. I felt so much for him the whole time cause like, bro, I can relate to him on so many levels.

    To think Tyler was freshly 18 before dying too really stung. That hurt so bad and to think about how Lomedy felt about it hurt even more. I get where Lomedy was coming from, he was tired. I get that so much. He's suffered enough.

    I'm genuinely just stuck thinking about this fanfic. This was amazing. I need more people to glaze this and more art of it online, I also want edits of this on tiktok. (im greedy as fuck)
