Llewyn may have not done so well in school, but he wasn’t a fucking moron. Mike had always been the people person. He was the one everyone liked. Llewyn had always known he was the shitty stray dog that came with the Mike Timlin package. Mike had been the one who had taken him in, offered him friendship (eventually love) and a place to stay. For what felt like the first time in years, this stupid, stinky wet dog had found a home.
But Mike was gone now.

“Nothing happened—” Tashi starts to say, but Art steamrolls over her.
“But something was going to happen, wasn’t it? If I hadn’t shown up? You’d be sneaking off to fuck right under my nose?”
“Would that be a problem?” Patrick asks. Silence falls amongst them.
Art sees red. He’s going to kill him. Did this fucking guy trip and hit his head on the pavement before coming in here and attempting to fuck up his life? “Would that be a fucking problem? What the fuck have you been snorting—”
“Would that be a problem,” Patrick continues, “if we did it without you?”
In Atlanta, Art catches Tashi and Patrick together. He confronts them.
