Summary
Letting the club fall to the floor again, Fadel leans on it lightly as he turns around, bringing a leg up to rest on the chair, right between Style’s legs. He brings his face close, closer than he’d usually ever dare to go, but his rational brain’s going farther and farther out the window the longer he talks with Style.
“Aren’t you scared?” he asks, like he doesn’t know the answer. Like he doesn’t see the glint in Style’s half-lidded eyes, the curl of a smirk growing on his lips.
“Why would I be?” he challenges, leaning his head forward and grinning when Fadel doesn’t pull back.
“I could kill you right now, and no one could possibly save you.”
Fadel pounds the head of his club against the floor, as though to make a point, but Style pays it no mind.
“If you were going to kill me, you would’ve done it by now.” His eyes flicker down to Fadel’s lips, a quick motion that anyone else would’ve missed, but Fadel catches it immediately. “But you like me.”
