Naruto returns to Konoha with one Uchiha Sasuke, but Sakura, feeling the force of her own inadequacies and desperate for the power to protect, instead takes the path intended for him. Along the way she meets all manner of strange people, from sannin to Tailed Beasts to estranged older brothers—all of whom will leave their marks upon her, in their own ways.

Summary
Someone was poisoning Konoha ANBU.
And Sakura had inside knowledge- the poison had been developed by none other than Suna.
With trade relations going wrong and Konoha ANBU turning up half dead, Sakura and Shikamaru are sent to Suna to solve the problems that if left alone, could very well push them towards another war.
Sakura loved her job. She loved her village. She loved her friends.
But sometimes, one makes all the wrong decisions to stumble upon the right one.
