“Much obliged,” BJ grinned, “and no more ‘sir’s, Private. It’s BJ and Hawkeye.”
“Doctors Pierce and Hunnicutt if you’re nasty,” Hawkeye added as he began loading their fishing gear into the back of the jeep.
The private smiled as he bent down to pick up the tool box on his left, “Well, BJ and Hawkeye, I’m Gene McGill. Most folks call me Righty, though.”
“Righty? Where’d you pick up a name like that,” Hawkeye asked, rounding back to BJ’s side.
Righty lifted his toolbox onto the closed hood and faced the two men. For the first time, BJ could get a full look at the young private. His eyes traveled from the top of Righty’s head (the kid was only a little shorter than BJ), down his shoulders, and stopped at the empty air where the private’s left arm should have been.
“Well,” Righty began, shifting awkwardly, “it’s a little obvious, isn’t it?”

While a lull in the fighting occurs, the 4077 welcomes some new faces to their unit. Hawkeye and BJ try to help a drafted amputee get sent home, Margaret worries that a socially awkward nurse may not last in the long run, and problems with the PA system bring Radar face-to-face with and old rival. -

Continuity note: In the MASH timeline, this episode occurs between Hawkeye and 38th Parallels. In the Star Trek timeline, the guys arrived several months after Turnabout Intruder.

“I don’t know which one is which!” The wizard looked to be in the midst of a panic attack as the barbarian half-orc hacked at power cords to try and save both Penny and Riz - but he would be too little too late.
“Just pick one, Adaine! We believe in you!” A wink from the tiefling had Adaine nodding, confidence flowing through her. Bardic inspiration, Penny assumed.
“Goodbye, Riz.” Penny waved, watching the Mage Hand spell cover Adaine’s own palm in a soft blue light. She must have figured it out - Riz would be safe soon.
“No, Penny! PENNY!” Riz shook, the palimpsest being knocked around just a bit as his fists continued digging into shards of crystal-
-and Penny Luckstone flew into Adaine’s open palm.
