Summary
The unfortunate thing about changing universes was that people tended to forget exactly how much you needed to be clued in on. People including yourself. Though your assumption that the animalistic traits stopped at ears, tails and the like was a fair one. That was the case for beastmen as far as your discreet digging could show so wouldn’t it be the same for fey? Horns and a tail didn’t seem too intimidating...

Time is a fickle thing. There is always too much when it matters not, and too little when it's too late.
Barbatos had crafted the perfect world for himself, where he was safe from the things that terrified him most. Things like commitment and certainty. For a long time, he believed that he had severed the attachments bound to him like chains, that he had burned every bridge after crossing to the other side alone. He liked it that way. He liked being in control. For the most part, he had the power to ensure he always was.
But Solomon, who had been left stranded by the wretch that destroyed his only way back, was forced to adapt.
You are the one constant in both their lives, and you want Barbatos. But Barbatos never learned how to want. Solomon did. And now he wants you.
The brothers are stressing you out and you’re dying for some much-needed rest. But after Barbatos asks for some help one night, you realize your exhaustion has a little more to do with who you’ve been spending time with than what you’re doing.
