Summary
When the Time Lords were alive, they spoke of the Jedi mission, the coming war that would either put an end to the beings involved or begin a new chapter for the far off galaxy. The elders of Gallifrey had been clear in their instruction. The fate of the universe was out of their hands, they would say, the only help they could provide the Jedi would be to stay away from the battles, to keep themselves safe from the evil that would no doubt spread amongst them if they attempted to lend a hand. But now, with every Time Lord but the Doctor wiped from existence from a war that was fought hard and fast and devastated the land he grew up in, the Doctor finds himself landing the TARDIS in a dimly lit hallway of a spacecraft riddled with Sith and one Jedi who's destiny, according to him, is to fight in this war.

Boston, Massachusetts, 1997.
Billy Hargrove started his career as a Boston Police detective at the age of 22, his first case was unsolvable. He was put on the case of the Boston Disciples, a gang that had been running rampant for the past year, selling drugs, and ultimately costing many kids their lives. At the age of 26, 4 years of investigating has brought him to the doorstep of the gang leader. This gang leader was supposedly a tall Asian American man in his late 30s.
Jane Kolkov grew up on the streets, abandoned by her parents, and raised by the men who would ultimately lead her to her throne as the gang leader of the Boston Disciples. She had many nicknames, Silence, Reaper, and Moth were a few, but to her close adversaries, made up of only two members of the gang, she was known as the Ivory Princess of the Boston Disciples. None of these names were approved of or given to her on her own will, but rather spread amongst the gang to instill fear. At the end of the day, Jane allowed them to call her whatever they wanted as long as they brought her the cash and kept the talking to a minimum.

Billy Hargrove, teachers assistant at USC, finds his student, Jane Green, to be particularly interesting. She tends to fall asleep in class, not really turn in homework, and by the middle of the semester, is too far gone from the class to be bothered.
