Summary
In this slow-ish burn, told from Scaramouche's POV, Scaramouche has been given a new name that represents his new life. After a year wandering Teyvat in solitude, he returns and runs into Lumine where she quickly introduces him to Kaedehara Kazuha. They become travel companions, friends, and much more. Scaramouche struggles with accepting his emotions rather than rejecting them, grapples with his growing feelings for his new friend, and deals with his really messed up attachment/abandonment issues. But most of all there's a lot of growth as he navigates his new life and learns the best way to heal is to forgive himself. Kazuha helps guide him on this journey as their friendship blossoms into something bigger than both of them.
