The boundless infinity of the ocean behind this wall has the same colour as Ivar's eyes, there's a new dawn rising, and they're far enough from the city to not feel its constant noise. It could almost be romantic. Almost, but they're surrounded by crates of disassembled rifles and in two hours Heahmund has to check-in at HQ where they'll ask him if he's any closer to finding and killing Ivar. He'll say no with the taste of their kisses still lingering on his lips and the feeling of his skin under his fingertips.
Heahmund Bishop is the best. He never backs away from a contract. And he has nothing to lose. That's why he is sent to infiltrate one of the most dangerous criminal organizations in Europe and kill its leader.

A man awakens with several injuries and no memory of who he is, where he’s at or how he got there. The only person who can help him is the one man who hates him.
Ivar wants his revenge against Heahmund for betraying him but can’t bring himself to hurt a man who clings to him as he suffers from not knowing who he is, his past or why Ivar hates him so much.
(This is my first Ivar/Heahmund pairing but all the great writing inspired me to do my own. I hope it isn’t too bad and does them justice.)
