Summary
When the County Fair comes to town for the first time in 5 years, Lucas Sinclair jumps at the opportunity to spend four weeks in the sun, with an endless stream of free ride tickets, and deep fried foods.
To make matters better, or worse, he has somehow convinced his friends to join him. The fairgrounds are sprawling. With promises of dare-devil thrill rides, live music, the best curly fries on the planet, and a fully working arcade, Lucas makes plans to see and do it all.
Will he succeed in his goal? Or will he spend too much time day dreaming about the feisty redhead working ring toss booth across the dusty walkway? He never had the guts to talk to her at school, but maybe here, at the awe-inspiring fair, under the glow of the twinkling lights, he will finally make a move on the girl of his dreams.

Summary
Before starting college, Lucas Sinclair gets a summer job at Hawkins Blues, a bar run by everyone’s favorite bartender, Benny. Things take a even a (great) turn when a band comes in from California to perform there. It’s not the band itself though that catches Lucas’ eye though. Instead it’s the feisty redhead, Max Mayfield. She’s the younger, step-sister of the lead bassist and is essentially helping run the logistics for the band.
Which means she and Lucas get to suddenly spend a lot of time together that night. And it turns out that it isn’t just music that can make you feel things; it can also be the feel of someone in your arms while you dance.

Summary
The war is over. Henry is a memory, and Hawkins is rebuilding over the cracks of the Earth. But for Max, the silence is the loudest thing in the room.
Eleven is gone—vanished into the fray of the final battle—and the Party is left with a hole that no amount of time can fill. While the others look for answers, Max is just trying to look at the sun without seeing red. Supported by Lucas, who has become her steady hand and her quiet North Star, she begins the 18-month crawl toward graduation. It’s a journey of relearning how to walk, how to breathe, and how to love a life that feels like it was stolen.
Just as they finally learn to let go—just as the grief starts to feel like a scar instead of an open wound—the universe decides to speak back. Because in Hawkins, "gone" doesn't always mean "forever."
