Summary
Jongho had been searching endlessly for two weeks to find someone to play an accompaniment to his voice. There was a showcase at the end of the semester; a little event to show his professors that their time wasn’t wasted on him, to show improvement and potential. Everything just had to be perfect, had to go exactly right, or he was doomed. Ever since his accident, he’d lost his scholarships, the whole reason he had gone to school here in the first place. He was starting to get more desperate the longer he went without someone to play for him. So much so that he even accepted a referral from one of his closest friends. Time was running out and the man that showed up on Yeosang's recommendation was... well... not exactly what Jongho had been expecting.

"No, I'm telling you, it's nothing like that! We've talked about this, like, a million times. He's really into the idea of us having fun with someone else, maybe even seeing where it goes in the future! Hongjoong's just a little…prickly. Awkward. He's like a cat that's lying on its back with such a cute, fluffy, inviting tummy that screams yes, come touch me, nothing bad will happen to you, and sometimes that's true, but sometimes it's also a trap."
Alternatively; Wooyoung and Hongjoong agree to have a third, Hongjoong's vetting process, however, leaves a lot to be desired.

Hongjoong slides his hand up, places his palm on Wooyoung's thigh and rubs his thumb into the jean material below. It isn't much, but it's awkward and he sort of feels like he's doing something wrong, so he curls his fingers and bunches the fabric into his fist to give it another light tug in the awkwardest way—but with a smile, to make it not weird, obviously.
"Thank you," Hongjoong finally says. Awkward Idiot Extraordinaire. "For all of the stuff you do for me. It means a lot."
