Summary
Science and religion – two opposite ends of the spectrum, and yet strangely similar. Both sought answers and principles of existence, both believed in the power of creation.
Multi had never been a religious person, but the idea of divinity has been haunting his mind more and more as he progressed further in his research.
The deeper he succumbed, the more control seemed to slip away from his grasp.
And in most cases, Quackity was the cause of it.

Summary
Raised in isolation as the possible vessel for a dormant goddess, Katie has spent her entire life hidden from the world. Surrounded merely by prophecy, prayer and warnings about monsters that roam distant islands as the sun sinks and lays its bed.
On the eve of the ceremony meant to secure her destiny, she runs, seeking a life of adventure, ready to explore a world which thrives beyond the sea.
But the world beyond her island is far crueler, far older and far more harrowing than she was ever told.
When a storm leaves her stranded at an abandoned church, Katie finds herself at the mercy of a cruel priest far too interested in the metallic nectar, piping hot and deep beneath her skin.
Some monsters were never truly extinguished.
And some Gods should never wake.Bookmarked by bottledmeds

Summary
Quackity spends more and more time in the Polish Cave because he wants to be near Multi and watch him work on his reactor. Multi likes having him around because, for once, he doesn’t feel lonely, and he finally has someone who actually listens to him. What neither of them realizes at first is that Quackity is getting more and more affected by the radiation and starts getting sick. Unfortunately, Multi has yet to find the antidote. To do so, Quackity convinces him to extract his DNA, getting hurt in the process. Not wanting to cause any more harm to the only person he cares about, Multi decides to distance himself after the accident. Now, when they both have a lot of time to think, it turns out they are even more miserable and not talking to each other hurts them more than any reactor ever would.

Summary
Multi wasn’t particularly keen on developing a cure for some nosy spy who didn’t obey the rules, so the Regime Leader decided to strike where it hurt the most – he targeted the only thing that mattered to the scientist besides uranium.
That reckless decision awakened something dangerous, forcing Multi and Quackity to face things they had tried so hard to ignore.
